EscavaHealth is the controller of the personal data collected through this site. For any request regarding your data, write to privacidad@escavahealth.com.

2. What data we collect

From patients who request contact: name, WhatsApp number, email (optional), and the record of your consent.
Anonymous usage data: page views, interactions, and site events, without personally identifying you.
From health professionals: professional information from public and official sources (identity, license, specialty, contact, and memberships).

3. How we use it

To let you contact the health professional you choose.
To operate, maintain, and improve the directory and its features.
To understand site usage through aggregate analytics.
To comply with legal obligations.

4. Legal basis

Processing of your contact data is based on your prior, express, and informed consent (Law 1581 of 2012), which you give when submitting the contact form. You may revoke it at any time.

5. Who we share your data with

When you request to contact a professional, we pass your data to that professional so they can reply. We use technology infrastructure providers (e.g., hosting and database) that may process data outside Colombia; in those cases we apply the safeguards required by law for international transfers. We do not sell your personal data.

6. Your rights

As the data owner you may access, update, correct, and delete your data, and revoke consent. To exercise these rights, write to privacidad@escavahealth.com; we will respond within the legal timeframes.

7. Security and retention

We apply reasonable technical and administrative measures (encryption at rest and restricted access) to protect your data. We keep contact data only as long as necessary for the stated purposes or as required by law.

We may update this policy. The current version will be posted on this page with its update date.
